Limited Editions & Authenticity Guarantee

The Principle of Scarcity

Every photograph captured by Victor Hensel-Coe is released strictly as a certified limited-edition fine art print. To preserve the long-term investment value for our collectors, these edition sizes are absolute. Once an edition run sells out entirely (such as an edition limited to 7 total prints), the image is permanently retired from production and will never be reproduced in that format again.

As an edition run nears completion, pricing typically scales to reflect the increased rarity of the remaining pieces.

Certificate of Authenticity

To prevent counterfeiting and guarantee provenance, every single print purchased through Galerie SLP arrives accompanied by an official, multi-layered Certificate of Authenticity.

Each document features:

  • The Artist’s Hand-Signature: Individually signed, dated, and verified by Victor Hensel-Coe.

  • Unique Tracking Registry: The exact production details, paper specifications, and dimensions logged permanently.

  • The Serialized Edition Number: Explicitly state-stamped (e.g., 1 of 7) matching your specific asset.

  • Holographic Security Seals: A matching pair of serialized, tamper-proof holographic labels—one affixed permanently to the reverse side of your print’s Alu-Dibond backing, and one fused directly to your physical paper certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a strict print run of only 7 editions preserve market value?

In the fine art world, scarcity is a primary driver of long-term value. By strictly limiting a print run to an edition of only 7, the artist ensures that the artwork remains exceptionally rare. This absolute ceiling on supply means that as demand or recognition for the artist's work grows over time, interested collectors must compete for a highly restricted number of physical pieces, which naturally helps sustain and appreciate the market value of your investment.

How do dual-matching holographic security seals prove authenticity?

Our dual-matching holographic security system provides a tamper-proof, counterfeit-resistant guarantee of authenticity through a two-step verification process:

  • The Gallery Seal: One uniquely numbered, tamper-evident holographic seal is permanently affixed directly to the back of the artwork frame or the archival print backing.

  • The Certificate Seal: An identical, matching holographic seal is affixed to your physical Certificate of Authenticity (COA).

Both holograms feature matching unique serial numbers and micro-engraved optical security details that cannot be replicated. When the unique identifier on your artwork perfectly matches the identifier on your official certificate, it provides undisputed, lifelong proof of the artwork’s origin and genuine status.
